90210 stars and fellow celebs express support for Luke Perry after reported stroke

The Beverly Hills, 90210 gang and other celebrities turned to social media on Thursday to express support for Luke Perry, who is in the hospital after a reported stroke. Actors like Ian Ziering called for his followers to “say a prayer” for Perry, 52, whose representative said is “currently under observation at the hospital.” He did not give other details on his condition.

Besides his much-beloved role as Dylan on the long-running 90210, Perry also guest stars as Archie’s dad on the CW’s Riverdale.

Perry was taken to the hospital on the same day that Fox revealed it would air a 90210 limited series that will premiere this summer. Perry was not part of the announcement, but producers are leaving the door open for him and Shannen Doherty to join the six-episode series. Former 90210 stars Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling have all signed on to the project.
